Possibility for Digimon on DVD?

Brian Ward, one of Shout Factorys DVD producers mentioned after a recent suggestion for them to do Digimon on DVD that he would toss the idea up for the powers that be.

After that he mentioned low sales of shows like Medabots as a reason why a no answer is likely (the thread was started a few years ago, but he recently pointed out it would be a hard sale to the people in charge.)

Head to the Shout forum and show support for the possibility of a release (and preferably pass this around so we can get as many Digimon fans as possible to show support for the idea.)

New Digimon Series?

A few pieces of information that Ive been collecting for a few months seem to be coming together since a few Japanese blogs posted about it.

It appears (APPEARS) there will be a new season of Digimon next year.

Apparently to release in tandem with Wii and DS games.

Im waiting for a few people to get back to me with information (possibly the title) so while its alright to get excited, just be aware it MAY not be true.

Although Ill admit even Im smiling.

Digimon Story Lost Evolution

A Japanese blog is currently reporting that there is a new Digimon Story game, for the DS, in the works. Its current name is "Digimon Story: Lost Evolution" subject to change, with a release date of 2010.

More news will be posted as it becomes available.

Hmm a new Digimon game out of the blue.....speculate away.

New Album- Digimon History 1999-2006 All The Best

Thanks to jp for confirming information that I got a week or so ago (I had been looking, but no dice.)

Digimon History 1999-2006 All The Best will be a 2 disk best of for the period between Adventure starting and Savers ending. Itll contain all the intros, outros, and insert songs from well... the time period in the title of the album.

Itll be 3400 yen and come out on January 1st, 2010 (and yes, from looking around, that appears to be the real date, and not a stand in.) NECA-30257 is the catalog number so everyone can track it down at their favorite online stores.

Once theres more info itll be posted.

A nice way for Digimon fans to start off the year, hopefully it wont be the only thing we get.
