Xros Wars Simulcast and more discussion!
Crunchyroll announced they will be simulcasting Xros Wars starting next week in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, South Africa, Australia, and New Zealand.
For now the first Xros Wars won't be included, just the current episodes.
Also, let's continue the discussion here since the old thread is getting large.

So, I'll just echo thoughts again
WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT?

The wat is echoing in my brain. I don't know how feel about this. Okay, now I do. Why stream the second half of the series when the first was never touched? Makes no sense.

---------------------------------- When Crunchyroll gets a sequel or starts midway of an anime, they tend to upload the previous episodes. I can't think of any time when they didn't do that.

Maybe they initially didn't think the first one was worth picking up. Since it did rather well from what I understand, picking up the second is a good idea. Anything that gets the series exposure is a good idea to me.
Maybe if it proves popular, they might toss in the first series. I know it won't be the first time CR picks up a sequel FIRST and then adds in the previous series shortly afterward.

Toei hasn't been big on simulcasting unless their partners effectively tell them they 'need' to do it. More than likely they just didn't see the need until now.

---------------------------------- Totally forgot Toei tend to be complete asshats about licensing and simulcasting stuff.
