Xros Wars Series Lengths and News Updates
Time for some major news, so time for a new update rather than just mini updates in the last thread.
Information from the recent Toei Studio Tour special suggest that Xros Wars will be running 52 episodes and ending next September.
I won't get into some of the other things it went into (when Digimon appear, some future Xros') and so forth until we have detailed art or at least more information on them.
Exciting to know that it seems we will be watching Xros nearly a year from now.
Wonder if a new series will be airing this time next year...

I find any such timeline scheduled a year ahead to be worthless.
Reality isn't quite that neat and tidy to guarantee everything will air like that. Is it possible it will, absolutely. But I'm not posting it because it seems worthless to me outside of they expect to be producing 52 episode.

So, will this be the longest that any Digimon series has run in Japan?
Also, nice to know that it'll have 52 episodes, which is both similar and different to the length of the first four series. 8)

---------------------------------- Adventure was 54 so it's a little bit off
In any case, I knew it the whole time. Toyetic anime (almost) never run shorter than a year ;D |
