Why is 02 the only series that gets streamed? It's a bit puzzling. And annoying that non-US visitors can't watch. The subs are awful, anyway (Hikaru -.-).

The subs aren't nearly 'horrible'.  They are better than the vast majority of fansubs most series get.

02 was the series that Toei USA started with because it was the earliest Digimon series that had preexisting digital copies to work off of from Japan.

And none of their attempts have really made them much money.

If something goes poof out the gate you'd have to be a fool to just do it again and expect a different result.
