If only they would release this on the iPhone... maybe then we'd have a better chance for this.

While I honestly never expect to see it, the american Digimon logo did throw me for a bit of a loop.

New Digimon merchandise is sweet, even if it's Japan only =) Hopefully there's more nifty stuff coming out soon

Well at least they're still pumping out new Digimon merch. That can't be a bad sign.

That threw me too. Who would've thought?
Although I think it just boils down to Japanese marketing execs using whatever looks cool to them. XD
And as for the Japan only thing...are you sure BoA isn't going to pick it up? Maybe they won't if it bombs or something, but it's still a possibility. You never know...

First of all, the iPhone is a radically different platform than most cell phones - developing an iPhone app is, on the technical side, very similar to developing a full-blown desktop application. So it wouldn't be trivial to just port it from a usual cell phone to the iPhone platform - they'd most likely have to completely redesign the game mechanics. Second, the demand for iPhone developers is way, way greater than the current supply at the moment. And the reason for that is because the iPhone is essentially a stripped down version of the Mac OS X platform - and, as we all know, Mac developers are very scarce due to the dominance of fucking Windows.
Who would've thought the day would come when Mac OS X developers would be overwhelmed with demand for their services? *is satisfied*
(And that ends my shameless Mac plug. lulz)

All I heard honestly was 'bla bla bla, I love Mac'
I bought a Touch before it was available, it isn't THAT great of a development platform to compare it to a full blown desktop. |
