I always thought of Gaomon and Touma as a Dog ( based Digimon ) and his Master. I think even official sources refer to them as that from time to time.

Problem is however that Gaomon even calls Touma Master when he just talks about him. While that works for Master, aswell as for Aniki and Boss, I�m not sure if that works for Sir.

Gaomon: Master is highly intelligent.

as opposed to

Gaomon: Sir is highly intelligent.
