E3 News- Wednesday- Part 2
Konami's super announcement was just a new Silent Hill.
Now for some 2008 game.
Mario Kart Wii- Looks slick. Appears to use the style of the DS game but with Wii graphics. Most of the stages they showed in the video were from the DS game, so hopefully we get a ton of classic stages. Online, good, as was the suggestion that it appears there will be more then 8 people in a race, 10, 12...or dare we hope, 16 per game? (Yeah, I had this in the 2007 section by accident before, wasn't paying attention)
Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots- The game just keeps looking slicker and slicker. And it seems like each time we get a new clip of Raiden it makes him look more and more badass.
Killzone 2- Honestly, I couldn't stand the first Killzone and outside of graphics nothing from the new trailer looked to change that for me.
StarCraft 2- Nothing new, same stuff from the announcement period.
Not all that much 2008 stuff shown at the press conferences, quite a bit was on the floor though, but since I'm not there on the floor I won't comment. Find it interesting to comment that as far as I can tell there was absolutely no Square-Enix stuff in the press conferences at all.
More stuff tomorrow (although starting tomorrow I will probably source other websites for video to watch due to the major press conferences being over.)

Really looking forward to Mario Kart Wii. I know there's a few people in the Digimon community that'll get this also. Can't wait to race alongside them.

One of those would be me. I have the DS version but have not tried the wi-fi races yet. Oddly enough. Anyone notice that whenever they talked about beautiful katamari they had the same clip of the savers PS2 game. They didn't seem to notice until they actually talked about it. Then they changed it to the correct footage.
