Game Updates, Game Updates, and Game Voices (with big news for Renamon fans)
First some small things
Digimon World Data Squad will have the Japanese music.
It will be English only, no Japanese language track.
Only characters who spoke in the japanese version will speak in the english dub.
There will be NO story edits like have been done to Naruto games to not 'jump ahead' of the show.
Dawn/Dusk- Data Squad characters will stay in as they did in the Japanese version, no idea about the Next Characters.
And now for some cast and character news for Digimon World Data Squad.
Biyomon will be female and played by... Melodee Spevack (who was Birdramon, Garudamon, and LadyDevimon in the show.
And now for the big fun fun fun yay news.
Renamon will be female...and played by......
Mari Devon
YAYYYYYYYYYYY, Renamon's dub actress is back.

Mari Devon reprising Renamon: Fuckin' Ey. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D That's the reprisal role everyone wanted, and thank god we ended up getting it.
Melodee Spevack: lol, not only does she get to be Birdramon and Garudamon, but she gets to be Biyomon and Phoenixmon, too. XD I can't help but sense win in that.
English Only: I don't mind that, actually. I wasn't expecting dual audio anyway, so it's no big loss for me. And there isn't any real spoilers for the show in-game anyway, excluding Ikuto and the Megas. But everyone knows those in the first place.

That's because, for some reason, Renamon was voiced by a male seiyuu in the game, Chiba Susumu. (Yamaki, Taichi and Hikari's father, RhodoKnightmon Savers) Despite the fact "he" evolved to Sakuyamon and tried extremely hard to sound "female" in that form. Yeah, it was a little bit of a mess.

I think this means that they'll stay in the game as opposed to being removed to avoid spoilers with Ikuto (as if we don't know about his existence.)
